Society is made up six concentric circles, each getting smaller and closer to enlightened as one moves inward to knowing. Yet, the common belief of what enlightenment is, is wrong. How so, and why this view is important?

Freedom gives us rights. Rights come with responsibilities. Responsibility requires empathy. Empathy is selflessly changing your life for another; also known as love.
Civilization, reinforced by modern religion, lends humans to believe we can break the laws of Nature and God. Breaking a law of Nature or Life is like trying to break the laws of physics: we can’t without breaking something or killing someone. I am not generally a religious writer, but if I were a prophet, I would write something like this.
We can downsize, recycle and homestead all we want but consumption, population growth and environmental loss will continue. The efforts of activists, NGOs and well meaning leaders are not reversing human impact. So what is the answer?
