Here are the five reason why I believe COVID and the omicron variant are man-made. I am not an epidemiologists, but see if this logic makes sense. More is coming; read to the end.

1. Given how rapidly transmissible COVID is, it would have jumped from bat guano to humans centuries ago. As of today, there have been 305 million cases of COVID-19. The flu, common cold and a host of other human illnesses were transmitted from animals hundreds or thousands of years ago. Even far less common diseases, such as measles and whooping cough, were transferred from animals ages ago. If COVID was natural, it should have happened a long-time ago.
2. There should be thousands of variants – we have had a third of a billion COVID cases. However, we have seen only two major Variants of Concern that spread more easily than other variants: delta, and omicron.
3. Statistically, new variants should originate in populations with more infections. The U.S. has had the most cases: 60 million. South Africa on the other hand has only had 3.5 million cases according to the Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 Dashboard. My theory is this. Part I: The powers at be ran simulations that concluded as long as a significant number of people spread the virus by refusing to get vaccinated and the vaccine is not 100 percent effective, the only way to protect the population and world economy is to get everyone infected with a much more contagious, but less fatal variant that would make the prior variants extinct. If everyone gets COVID, then everyone is semi-protected. Part II: If you wanted to rapidly spread a variant world wide, you would release it in a country with a weak healthcare system but still significant international travel, hence South Africa. If you released it in the U.S., Europe, or China, you run the risk of it being detected before it can be fully internationally disbursed.
4. The omicron variant has too many mutations to be one simple variant. Omicron has 60 mutations compared to the reference / ancestral variant. Here is a second source that discusses a study of the omicron mutation structure. Viruses don’t have brains that design changes. It’s more or less trial and error resulting in survival of the fittest variant. If a variant is to lethal, it kills the host before it can spread very far. Variations do not happen consciously by design, but by accident when the virus is replicated. Omicron has 60 mutations the combined make it both four times more transmissible than delta AND is less severe because is spares the lungs. Omicron is so different it is almost acts like a new virus itself. This may point to lab engineering. Omicron is too good to be true.
5. Too many wealthy people are making too much money from this crisis. Why aren’t large pharmaceutical companies releasing patents on their vaccines to be shared around the world? Isn’t this a crisis we all share? How can multiple pharma companies patent vaccines based on mRNA research by one woman, Dr. Kariko? Has she been properly compensated for inventing the tools that are partially saving the world? Should large corporation be removed from university funding in the first place? How could Trump’s COVID-19 Czar hold $10 million in Moderna stock options before he was appointed? Big questions.
6. Bonus: Was COVID intentionally or accidentally released? My gut feeling is that a lab experimenting an older coronavirus such as SARS or MERS accidentally released it. But, we may never know the origin for certain. Evidence has long been destroyed. However, it would be interesting to compare COVID-19 RNA to every coronavirus lab sample pre-2019 and see if there is a match. I bet RNA sequencing of prior lab samples is on a computer backup somewhere today. If man-made, we must reveal the people who did this.
7. No matter how COVID got here, it has taken a huge evolutionary jump from SARS-CoV-2, which causes coronavirus in humans. If it is manmade, the virus did not take the normal evolutionary path. And, if COVID-19 becomes 30 percent fatal similar to MERS-CoV virus, discovered in outbreaks in Middle Eastern countries in 2012 and 2015, we are in real trouble.[1] What is a new variant of Omicron emerged that is 1.5 times more contagious? It’s here. The BA.2 variant is in 12 states in the U.S. Already. [2]
